n September 2015, Guido Van Briel from Belgium made a cultural trip to India and Nepal. He wanted to visit Delhi, greet Mahatma Gandhi’s grave, admire Jaipur with his ‘Palace of Winds’ and the wonder of the world ‘Tja Mahal’ in Agra, see the Hindu rituals in Varanasi and experience the devotion in Sarnath. In Nepal, all attention went to the birthplace of Buddha in Lumbini, the admiration to experience the Chitwan nature park and of course also visit the beautiful valley of Kathmandu with the royal cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur with its beautiful palaces and monasteries.
Unfortunately, on April 25 and 26, 2015, the Earth shook with a magnitude of 7.8 on the “Richter Scale”. The images of the many devastations and especially the tent camps in Ratna Park and on the open plains near Pashupatinath with thousands of civilians who had fled the disaster area and who were largely left to their own devices made him decide to do something for Nepal. Small-scale and yet efficient. He got to know some Nepalese and beautiful friendships were born. Bamshaj, Layra, Sworup, Suraj, Anup and especially Sudip Dhamala have become best friends for life. Back in Belgium he organized all kinds of activities with some village friends for the benefit of Nepal and a year later he went back to Nepal. Together with Sudip, a nice tool was mapped out. Especially schools and orphanages get all the attention because of “Namaste Nepal”. Be sure: It is not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratitude makes us happy. This is a go-to destination for beauty and self-care. Read more on its official website designed by WEBSOFT NEPAL
